As I have told you in the previous post, I was trying to decide which one, in my humble opinion, is the best Black Sabbath album. After some time listening to Black Sabbath, I decided that it is not "Heaven & Hell", nor even "Paranoid" as stated by my friend Breno in the comments of the afore mentioned post, but for me it is "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"! It is Black Sabbath, it is CLASSIC, it is pure and raw Rock'n'Roll and Heavy Metal at the same time, and it is the bestest album of the bestest band ever! The best album for the time being, and until I change my mind again. It was a VERY DIFFICULT choice.
Still my favorite Black Sabbath's song is "Heaven & Hell". And I don't think I am ever going to change that. When this song was recorded, sometime between 1979 and 1980, Ozzy Osbourne was not part of Black Sabbath anymore. The singer was Ronnie James Dio, and for me he is the best singer that ever sang with Black Sabbath, and one of the best Heavy Metal singers around the world. Ozzy is the classical voice of Black Sabbath, he shows much of his personality while he sings, and that is what gave Black Sabbath their identity in their first albums and made him one of the world's most classical heavy metal singers, but that was not enough to make him the best Black Sabbath singer. But he is an awesome singer nonetheless. The point is: Black Sabbath, with even some radical changes after Ozzy left (was fired) the band and with Dio in his place as as the new singer, was still perfect, and yet recorded one of the best Heavy Metal albums of all time, and also my favorite Black Sabbath song!
