Dust in the Wind

Religion is something interesting. Religious people look at things in a way that does not contradict their beliefs, but instead strengthen their religion, and in this way an every day fact gives them strength. Faith is a source of strength, and makes everything a little bit easier, even when it seems the Multiverse is conspiring against you, and nothing seems to work right. Usually religions are meant to be soothing and to give people hope, even in their darkest hour.

Today I was walking towards my building in the University, and I was thinking about my own religion. The Doomguard, the followers of Entropy. It is a weird religion I admit, and most people might think I am totally insane just to follow such a non-standard concept, and then call this a religion... Anyway, I was walking, hearing music in my MP3 player, wondering, and then, as an omen, it started to play a music called "Dust in the Wind" from a band called "Kansas". And while that happened, I saw for the first time the world in the eyes of a Doomguard. I will not even dare to describe what I saw here, as I do not want to scare you. It was not something soothing, nor gave me any hope, but it was beautiful in a way. And that made me think about life as it is today, not only mine, but everyone's.

In the end, there will be nothing, not even dust, much less wind... So why? We are nothing but tools of destruction, even not knowing. People build and care, but it decays. People create, and time destroys. Life was born, just to die.

All I am now is Confusion, Insanity, Chaos and Conflict... And there is where I have found "Peace" for now, but the search continues... What do I seek? Understanding...

DUST IN THE WIND
By KANSAS

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind

Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind.
Oh________________

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, everything is dust in the wind (everything is dust in the wind)

Hell's Bells

Vocals: Brian Johnson
Lead Guitar: Angus Young
Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals: Malcolm Young
Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals: Cliff Williams
Drums: Phil Rudd

From the album "Back in Black", this is "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC. I have nothing else to say, just listen!

I'm the rolling thunder; the pouring rain.
I'm comin' on like a hurricane.
White lightning's flashing across the sky!
You're only young but you're gonna die!

I won't take no prisoners - won't spare no lives!
Nobody's putting up a fight!
I got my fill; I'm gonna take you to hell;
I'm gonna get you - Satan get you...

CHORUS:
Hell's Bells!
Yeah, Hell's Bells!
You got me ringing Hell's Bells!
My temperature's high! Hell's Bells!

I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine.
If you're into evil, you're a friend of mine.
See my white light flashing as I split the night,
'Cause if good's on the left, then I'm stickin' to the right!

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives;
Nobody's puttin' up a fight.
I got my fill; I'm gonna take you to hell;
I'm gonna get you - Satan get you...

CHORUS

Yeow!
Hell's Bells, Satan's comin' to you!
Hell's Bells, he's ringing them now!
Hell's Bells, the temperature's high!
Hell's Bells, across the sky...
Hell's Bells, they're takin' you down.
Hell's Bells, they're draggin' you around.
Hell's Bells, gonna split the night!
Hell's Bells, there's no way to fight! Yeah!

Ow, ow, ow, ow!

Hell's Bells!

That is freakin' Rock'n'Roll in its purest and hardest form, babe!! Rock'n'Roll!! \m/,

Ultimate Musical Geekyness

People know I am a true believer in Rock'n'Roll, but unfortunately I don't know how to play any kind of instrument. The only musical experience I had was playing Guitar Hero. But I really want to learn how to truly play an electric guitar someday.Well... At least, that was what I thought until I have seen the most amazing musical instrument ever built by man... The "Geekiest" Musical Instrument Ever Built...

Two Tesla Coils playing the "Super Mario Bros." theme. It is geeky, and it's pure Heavy Metal.

Ela me alcançou em 3 dias!!

E enquanto a senhorita treina aí, eu treino aqui! Ha! ;P

Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Putaquepariu!!! :P

Free Bird
by Lynyrd Skynyrd

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
There's too many places I haven't seen
And if I stayed here with you, now
Things just wouldn't be the same
Well I'm as free as a bird now,
And a bird you can not change.
And a bird you can not change.
And a bird you can not change.
Lord knows I can't change

Bye, bye, its been a sweet love.
And though this feeling I can't change.
Please don't take it badly,
The Lord knows I'm to blame.
And, if I stayed here with you now
Things just wouldn't be the same.
For I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you'll never change.
And the bird you can not change.
And the bird you can not change.
Lord knows, I can't change.
Lord help me, I can't change.

Free Bird - 100% on Guitar Hero II

"Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" and "Heaven and Hell"

As I have told you in the previous post, I was trying to decide which one, in my humble opinion, is the best Black Sabbath album. After some time listening to Black Sabbath, I decided that it is not "Heaven & Hell", nor even "Paranoid" as stated by my friend Breno in the comments of the afore mentioned post, but for me it is "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"! It is Black Sabbath, it is CLASSIC, it is pure and raw Rock'n'Roll and Heavy Metal at the same time, and it is the bestest album of the bestest band ever! The best album for the time being, and until I change my mind again. It was a VERY DIFFICULT choice.

Still my favorite Black Sabbath's song is "Heaven & Hell". And I don't think I am ever going to change that. When this song was recorded, sometime between 1979 and 1980, Ozzy Osbourne was not part of Black Sabbath anymore. The singer was Ronnie James Dio, and for me he is the best singer that ever sang with Black Sabbath, and one of the best Heavy Metal singers around the world. Ozzy is the classical voice of Black Sabbath, he shows much of his personality while he sings, and that is what gave Black Sabbath their identity in their first albums and made him one of the world's most classical heavy metal singers, but that was not enough to make him the best Black Sabbath singer. But he is an awesome singer nonetheless. The point is: Black Sabbath, with even some radical changes after Ozzy left (was fired) the band and with Dio in his place as as the new singer, was still perfect, and yet recorded one of the best Heavy Metal albums of all time, and also my favorite Black Sabbath song!

Heaven and Hell
by Black Sabbath

Sing me a song, you're a singer
do me a wrong, you're a bringer of evil
The Devil is never a maker
the less that you give, you're a taker
So it's on and on and on, it's Heaven and Hell, oh well

The lover of life's not a sinner
The ending is just a beginner
The closer you get to the meaning
the sooner you'll know that you're dreaming
So it's on and on and on, oh it's on and on and on
It goes on and on and on, Heaven and Hell
I can tell, fool, fool!

Well if it seems to be real, it's illusion
for every moment of truth, there's confusion in life
Love can be seen as the answer, but nobody bleeds for the dancer
and it's on and on, on and on and on....

They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of Kings and Queens
who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
It's Heaven and Hell, oh well
And they'll tell you black is really white
The moon is just the sun at night
And when you walk in golden halls
you get to keep the gold that falls
It's Heaven and Hell, oh no!
Fool, fool!
You've got to bleed for the dancer!
Fool, fool!
Look for the answer!
Fool, fool, fool!

A new synonym, Heaven & Hell, and subtlety?

Is not it strange that in a blog named "Utmost Xaos", all the chaos synonyms are in alphabetic order??? Hm... I guess it is just a subtle aspect of chaos... I have to think about it!

After almost 6 months I just have thought about a new synonym that was not in the list, but it is now... Randomness. I don't know if it is an official english word, but it is accepted in some circles, and I accept it too!

There is no doubt for me that Heaven and Hell is Black Sabbath's best song, but I am beginning to ask myself if Heaven & Hell is their best album... Wait for a verdict about this conundrum in the close future.

Like a Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan

Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall"
You thought they were all kiddin' you
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin' out
Now you don't talk so loud
Now you don't seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal.

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be without a home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it
And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street
And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it
You said you'd never compromise
With the mystery tramp, but now you realize
He's not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And ask him do you want to make a deal?

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns
When they all come down and did tricks for you
You never understood that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you
You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal.

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made
Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things
But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse
When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

I Stand Alone - by Godsmack

I liked this thing about choosing the music of the day. To hear lots of musics everyday, and then choose the one which represents better the facts that happened in that day, or in the near past days. Today's music is:

I Stand Alone - by Godsmack.

It was a kind of new metal song. I am not a fan of new metal, and do not like most of it, but this music is very good, and it represents exactly how I am feeling these days. I'm not talking about exactly what the lyrics are saying. You should be a little creative and link the lyrics to something like your destiny or your fate, and the you will have a glimpse about what is passing through my mind these days. I am not used to give those sort of hints, but as I am often being very cryptic about the things I write here in this blog, this time I have choosen to be little more clear.

By the way, I prefer a lot more, the "old" Heavy Metal stuff. As I like to say, I have osmium and iridium in my bloodstream! \m/,

No lyrics this time! Ah, and by the way, do you remember The Dahaka? Well, that is the music that is played everytime The Dahaka appeared to chase the Prince, trying to catch him to then obliterate him from the timeline. That music is twice as good because of that...

And also there is something puzzling about "Stairway to Heaven" - by Led Zeppelin, but I did not catch what is it, yet... I just know that today is the third day that I randomly hear this song, and my jukebox has more than a thousand songs. There must be something still hidden...

Today was a good day, but unfortunately too slow... slow... I was feeling a infinity insatiable thirsty, and a unsurpassable sleepiness...

Obs: This post can be linked to an older post, and things can get clearer or shadier after that... Of course, I am not linking it here! ;)

Stonehenge and more...

There is a Stonehenge in Belo Horizonte. It is not an ancient astronomical observatory, nor it is thousands of years old, and not even made of monolithic stones. It is just bar, but in my opinion one of the best in the city. It is an open ambient, and it is located in the backyard of a house, there is even a swimming pool in the middle. I have never seen anyone jumping on the water, but who knows. And I don't think anyone lives in that house, but I really don't know. The best thing about the place is the music they used to play there. Only the GOOD and OLD Rock'n'Roll, sometimes even some Heavy Metal. EXCELLENT!!!

There is also a small room where various local bands play. It is like a garage. The only problem is that it is a closed room, there is an air-conditioning to cool the room, and also dry the air inside, and worse... lots of people smoke inside the place. Even the music playing inside being usually good music, this small room is the worse nightmare of your lungs and respiratory system, and even with the cooling system, the heat inside is very high!

I usually just enjoy the open ambient mechanical Rock'n'Roll playing, and I prefer not to enter in the small "slow lung killing" room. But sometimes, I have to enter the place, as happened last friday. The problem was that my respiratory system is still malfunctioning, and after I entered that room, it just got worse. Damn! But I didn't regret my actions, and it was very worth my time, and maybe worth some of my health.

After that my hair, my clothes, and myself were smelling smoke, but that was predictable. Now I'm paying for my actions on that day, and my respiratory system is still recovering. But that was a good day, and that is a very good place ever, with or without that small "slow lung killing" room. I'm getting tired of this problem with my cooling system, and I am staying quiet at home and at night since that friday and until I'm fully functional again, or until next friday! :P I just expect my immune system starts to work properly again and then starts to respond quickly to this malfunction.

That is it for now... I was thinking about other things to write here, but these other things will be written another day. I had to write about Stonehenge here someday, and that is today!

I do not know why, but the chinese stopped to visit my blog. How weird! My blog exists again. This exist and not-exist-anymore thing is so chaotic, that I'm liking it. It represents exactly what this blog means, but I guess that for now on this blog existence will be a quiescent fact until I decide otherwise.

There is no I, there is only... hmmm... the Force! Yeah! The Force! And that is it for now! So be it!

E a Vida continua.

O Propósito primordial voltará a consciência. O jovem Dragão ousará voar alto, muito alto.

Continua...

Guitar Hero

During Carnaval, I started to play Guitar Hero, a PS2 game. The objective is to properly play some Classical Rock, and Heavy Metal songs. You play the band's guitar player. And with all those good songs, you really feel the spirit of the game. At the same time you are playing, you also hear good music, and it makes you want to play better and get even better not to spoil the songs. An excelent game to be played during carnaval, with all that Rock'n'Roll and Heavy Metal, the only problem is that it is really an addictive game! :P
