Sometimes I have the feeling that I am spending too much of my time writing in this blog... Is that a waste of time? I really don't know... I just know that most of the time, I have fun writing these senseless things that no one cares about! :P
By the way, I did not write about it, but I beat "Doom 3" around a week ago. I also watched "Silent Hill", and I loved this movie... That is a movie I can call psychedelic terror! And sometime in the future I am going to write a medicine-astrophysics paper, but first I have to meet a friend in Brazil, and then we will get drunk, and while drunk we will start to discuss about the ideas for this article. (And I'm quite sure she was not kidding when she told me that... That will be fun! HAuHAuHAuHAuHAuHAuHAUha... )

Pré-Natal
Estava pensando em escrever algo aqui hoje, tenho até algumas idéias, mas está tarde, e é o melhor momento pra se jogar Doom 3! Então, após assistir "I Am Legend", que diga-se de passagem é excelente, pra quem gosta de filmes tensos e de terror psicológico, é hora de jogar um jogo mais tenso ainda, antes de dormir. Afinal, nada melhor que esta combinação pra se ter uma ótima noite de sono. E os dois tem tudo a ver com o espírito Natalino (matar demônios e se esconder de "zumbis").

Não estava pensando em escrever nada hoje não, mas devido a data de hoje, vou escrever alguma bobagem aqui.
Ontem assisti Transformers. É bem legal o filme, vale a pena assistir. A estória do filme não é lá das melhores não, mas o filme é divertido assim mesmo. Vale a pena assistir no cinema. Os robos são bem legais, e as transformações ficaram bem legais também. O único problema é que eles são tão ágeis, que as lutas ficam muito confusas. Fica difícil saber onde termina um, e começa o outro transformer. O filme tem um ar de comédia também.
Ontem comprei três livros, um de ficção científica chamado Paradox: The Nulapeiron Sequence - Book I, de um tal John Meaney. Nunca ouvi falar do sujeito, mas li críticas boas sobre o livro, e resolvi comprar pra ler. O outro é do Neil Gaiman, Smoke and Mirrors, e finalmente um livro com várias estórias do H.P. Lovecraft. Comecei a ler Paradox, e estou achando muito estranho ainda, ainda estou sendo apresentada para a ambientação futurista do autor, e existem vários conceitos não muito bem definidos ainda, isso confunde, mas talvez melhore.
Coloquei algumas fotos do Klatrymadon no álbum. HAUhAUhUAHuAHuHAa... Duas fotos só! E uma foto do meu quarto. :P
O melhor de tudo é que 07/07/07 caiu num sábado! Ha! :P

Post 91. Not a prime! The next is 97.
- Now that I have a computer I am watching Heroes again. I begin to watch it from the start again, and I have noticed a little improvement in my english understanding.
- I still did not watch the last episode of Lost.
- I still could not "steal" a wireless signal at home, and I don't know why. I guess I have to wait sometime before having Internet at home. Bah...
- I finished all my books. I need more books!!
- Sunday I am going to a Conference in South Hadley, MA, called Gordon Conference: Origins of the Solar System. And I am gonna spend a week there. People are going by car, and it will be a 10h to 12h trip. Lots of pictures to be taken.
- I may be going to watch Transformers today. I have yet to decide it.
- Next year Fallout 3 will be released!! I want very much to play that!!
- I also want to play Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero 3, Guitar Hero: The 80's, and Rock Band!! Rock Band is something like Guitar Hero, but you can play any of the instruments, and even sing. Awesome! I miss to play Guitar Hero! Damn, I need to play it... :P
- This month Monster Manual 5 was released. I guess they should try release something different. They should release supplements about each of the Planes. I am tired of only monsters, and classes!!
- At this moment I am hearing the classical, and one of the best of Black Sabbath's: Heaven and Hell.
- This is a worthless dot, and is here just for the post to have a prime numbers of dots. I don't like the 11, though, so I will continue until the next one...
- I think I am going to buy some books today. I just don't know what, yet...
- Just to finish, with another prime number of dots. Next friday is a Friday 13th. Whatever... (91 = 7x13).

Delayed photos and Pirates of the Caribean...
Four weeks in Ann Arbor and everything is still fine. The summer began yesterday, but this night the temperature here will be around 6 °C, according to the local forecast. Colder than the coldest winter night in Belo Horizonte.
About the photos, I will have to wait until I have a notebook to start posting them somewhere. The operational system in my office's computer does not recongnize my Card Reader Device, and the administrator said that it is because it is an old OS, and there is no way for it to work, so... As soon as CAPES pays me, I will buy a notebook. The problem is that I do not have the faintest idea about when it will happen. I expect it to be next week, but I really don't know.
This week I also went to the cinema for the first time here in Ann Arbor. I watched Pirates of the Caribean. It was great! The only problem is that I am still having some problems understanding some english accents, and to understand pirates speaking english with lots of different accents and lots of slangs was a little bit confused. But I could understand most of the dialogues in the movie. The problem was after the movie. After 6:30PM there are buses only at each hour, and after 10PM the regular buses stop. The movie ended just after the bus I was expecting to take passed near the movie theater, so I would have to wait for almost one 1h for the next and last one, so I decided to walk until the time the next bus was scheduled to pass. So I walked and walked and walked... And in the end, I walked until the place where I should stop, and the bus do not even have crossed me yet. And when I arrived in downtown, it was already past 10PM, so I had to walk home too. In the end I have walked around 7km from the movie theater to the apartment. It was better than if I had stayed in the bus stop waiting, and I still made some exercise, and explored Ann Arbor a little more. I even crossed a graveyard in my way home (unfortunately I did not see any kind of dark ritual being practiced there, I guess it was still early for those kind of things), walked through a road, crossed Ann Arbor city limities, not exactly in that same order. It is weird, people do not usually walk here, you see lots of people running and making execises, but they always drive their cars to wherever they want to go, even if it is near. I know 7km is not what we can call near, but during my walk I crossed at most 5 people walking around trying to go somewhere, and 2 guys riding bikes. I have not crossed anyone running, though, I guess it was too late for that. It must be weird for them to see someone with a backpack walking in a road almost at night too, but it was fun...
Yesterday, I was making some food (I do not call what I was doing of cook), and I was grilling some stuff. There is no window in the kitchen, which is kind of stupid in my opinion, and then lots of smoke start to rise in the apartment, covering everything. Then suddenly I start to hear something beeping inside the apartment, as loud as you can imagine. I started to try to figure out where in the nine hells that sound was coming from, and then I realized the apartment was totally covered in smoke, and the sound was coming from the smoke detector. I looked to that thing, and was thinking how I would make that sound to stop, and then decided to touch the thing, and it fell to the ground, and then the sound stopped. After that I had to use the bathroom exaustor (there is no window in the bathroom either, really stupid!), to suck out the smoke in the apartment. And after a while everything was ok again! That is what happens when you try to grill things inside a windowless kitchen apartment! Lots of fun! :P
My blog is still suffering some mutations, but I guess it will stabilize soon. I have to sit down, and start to understand the template code, and then change some of its parameters, to do what I want to do with it here yet. That will be done in the near future, or not... Maybe I will just change everything again.
At this exact moment (the moment I was writing this line, of course) I am hearing Johnny B. Goode by Jimmy Hendrix!! \m/,
And that is it for now. Another weekend starts, and time only knows what will be of me until next time... I guess tomorrow I will wander around the city, exploring and talking more pictures, but that is still undecided... And may the Force be with you and with me too! :P

Homem Aranha 3
Ontem fui assistir ao Homem-Aranha na pré-estréia, como sempre cinema ultra-lotada, e fila gigantesca que começou horas antes do filme. Acho que já estou ficando velho demais pra ficar horas numa fila, num lugar abafado, esperando a estréia de um filme. Por que as pessoas têm essa mania de filas?? Infelizmente nos cinemas não tem lugar marcado, e tem muita gente à toa ou sem nada o fazer, que consegue chegar horas antes de qualquer coisa para começar uma fila (como se eu nunca tivesse feito isso na minha vida!? :P).
O importante é que o filme é muito legal, e no fim das contas eu nem me arrependi de ter ficado mais de 2h na fila. Não vou comentar nada sobre o filme, mas se for para dar uma nota, eu dou 8.5 em 10. Como eu não sou nenhum crítico de cinema, e nem entendo tanto de cinema assim, a nota é apenas minha nota pessoal de fã.
O importante é que o filme é muito legal, e no fim das contas eu nem me arrependi de ter ficado mais de 2h na fila. Cinema - 300
Ontem a noite fui ver 300. Não é um filme que vai agradar a todos, mas me agradou muito! Praticamente só batalhas, e muito sangue. O diretor conseguiu passar muito bem, o estilo dos quadrinhos para a tela. E definitivamente, não tem nada mais legal do que se ver o pequeno exército de 300 espartanos acabando com o exército persa com milhares e milhares e milhares de guerreiros, sabendo que esta batalha aconteceu de verdade. A trilha sonora é ótima também!

Rocky Balboa
Today I went to the cinema and watched Rocky Balboa. A very good movie in my humble opinion. It is worth to see it. By the way, it is much more than just a boxe movie.
Unfortunately, there were some people there who did not know how to behave while inside a cinema. In the front row, there was a guy and I guess his teenage son, and they were continuously talking during the movie. I almost kick his son's head out. This "boy" was exactly in front of me. And in the row behing, there were a couple who also did not stop to talk one minute. The GIRL laughed at every word that were spoken in the movie. And the GUY did not stop to comment, and he even started to talk about something that has nothing to do with the movie. I guess the GUY just want to grab the GIRL and kiss her, but was incompetent enough to do that before the movie, and wanted to impress her during the session. DAMN IT!!
The cinema was almost empty, but these four people were worth for a bunch of teens! I have written GUY and GIRL in caps, because both were a "little bit" extra-large people... I have nothing against extra-large people, but they have made me really annoyed. Bah!
